Martin Charles Scorsese

Martin Charles Scorsese is an American movie director and actor. He was born on November 17, 1942 in Queen ward, New York City. He had been watching a lot of movies since he was a child because he had asthma and couldn't play. As a boy, he wanted to be Catholic priest, not a movie director. Escaping the Vietnam War draft, he directed short movie at New York University and made his first feature movie in 1967. His major work was released in Taxi Driver in 1976. Raging Bull was released in 1980. Hugo was released in 2011. He has directed movies in a variety of genres, including gangster movie, comedies, and 3D fantasy. Born into a Sicilian-Italian immigrant family and raised in a society dominated by the Mafia, realistic depictions of violence are important in many scenes. 


Goodfellas was released in 1990. The genres of this movie is American biopic. Starring Ray Liotta and Robert De Niro. It's about a real man named Henry Hill, who lived in the New York Mafia world between 1995 to 1980. This movie is based on Nicholas Pillage's  Wiseguy: Life in a Mafia Family in 1986.  The meaning of "Goodfellas" is a secret word in the muffin world, meaning those who belong to the same organization as you. The box office gross is about 47 million yen. 

The main character, Henry Hill, yearns to be a gang and starts his career in Brooklyn, New York at the age of 11, getting involved in trafficking and robbery. He also gets involved in big cases with his bloodthirsty friends Jimmy and Tommy. What kind of mafia life did the three of them lead after that?

This movie is based on a real person, so It's not a fast moving story, but it's a realistic depicted of American mafia society, and You will be drawn in by  Martin's unique scenes of violence. You can also enjoy the 60s and 70s music. The comfortable music makes the violent scenes even more frightening. The actor's performance conveys the fear of not being able to go back to being a normal person and the need to be prepared if you become a mafia. When I think about the fact that there are people living in a world that we don't know about, a world like Goodfellas, I'm reminded that this world is a wonder and that there are many people in it. If you want to watch a gangster movie, I recommend this movie.

  Full Metal Jacket is a 1987 American-British co-production, a war movie about the Vietnam War. Directed by Stanley Kubrick. Movie stars  Matthew Modine, Vincent D'Onofrio, and Ronald Lee Ermey. Rick and Morty

Rick and Morty is an American animated television series. The genre is sf comedy, but it's also a space horror story. It was released on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim in December 2, 2013 and received great reviews from critics. It was nominated in 2015 for Best General Television/Broadcast Animation Production.
