Science Fiction Movies
Science Fiction movies focus on political or social issues and are used to explore philosophical questions. There are many scenes of space travel, alien attacks, and time machines. Space scenes, fight scenes in zero gravity, and unrealistic scenes with lots of CG are often used. Three Science Fiction 1) SF Battle Action 2) Dystopia and 3) SF Comedy. An example of an SF Battle Action is TERRA FORMARS (2016). It was a directed by Takashi Miike based on the hit comic book about the battle between humanity and cockroaches that have joined human form on Mars. It has a lot of gorgeous cast members. In addition to the movie, there is a game, a manga, and anime. It grossed 780 million yen at the box office. An example of a dystopian movie is AKIRA (1988). A dystopian movie is the opposite of a utopia, a movie that districts a seemingly happy world but one that is constantly under surveillance.
